8 Frasi “magiche” per Convincere le Persone a fare ciò che Vuoi! – Impara a Manipolare in Italiano

Hello everybody and welcome to my channel: LearnAmo No use in pretending anymore: being persuasive and convincing people to do what we want is a skill that brings many benefits! Now, I’m not saying that’s fair, on the contrary: I admit that manipulating people, most of times, is wrong! But my job here is teaching everything I know, after that, it’s your decision how to use the power that comes from the knowledge I share with you! [“Il potere che deriva dalla conoscenza che infondo in voi”… I’m so fluent in my language!] Therefore, today I’m going to show you some lines that are useful to persuade people! Let’s get it started! “Se davvero ci tieni a me, devi farlo…” (If you really care about me, you have to do it…) This line, like the other ones we are going to see shortly, relies on people’s feelings and emotions. In fact, as far as we delude ourselves that our mind, logic and rationality control our actions actually, it’s the complete opposite! In fact, it’s our feelings and emotions that lead us, that move us and that determine our actions! In this regard, before we continue, I suggest you to read a very, very interesting book: “La Psicologia delle Folle” (The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind) by Gustave le Bon. The Amazon affiliate link is in description if you’re interested in buying it. If you read it, write me what you think of it! Another line that’s similar to the previous one is: “Se vuoi mantenere il legame che ci unisce, non puoi rifiutarti di farlo…” (If you want to preserve the bond between us, you can’t refuse to do it…) Again, with this line the manipulators take advantage of the other person’s feelings and affection to lead them to take a determinate action. I know, I know… it’s terrible! Believe me or not, I never did it! But think of it this way: learning these lines ca help you to recognize them when they’re used against you, so that you can avoid walking into your manipulator’s trap. “È per il tuo bene” (It’s for your own good). This is a really, really, tricky line! It makes the other person believe that doing or not doing something might be positive for their own interests and therefore it might be convenient for him or her. In this regard, I’ll never forget how many times Walter White, from Breaking Bad, has repeated to his wife that everything he did was for the good of the family… only then to admit, in the end, that everything he had done was for himself, because he liked it and because it made him feel alive! Alright, but now let’s move to the next line: “Dopo tutto quello che ho fatto per te, me lo devi!” (After everything I did for you, you owe me that!” This line induces the victim to do something on the basis that, according to the manipulator, they’re in debt. In fact, many people don’t like being reproached for something and, in order to relieve the debt, they’d do anything! “Se non mi ascolti, te ne pentirai…” (If you do’t listen to me, you’re going to regret that…) This line is based on two main aspect: 1) the fear that not doing what the manipulator has asked might have negative consequences. For example: the manipulator might have or know something compromising on this victim and with this line they’re trying to blackmail them. But, 2) at the same time, this line generates a doubt in the victim: is it possible that not doing what he/she is asking might be a mistake that I might regret? For example: a manipulator might ask the victim to invest in a big project. Therefore, with this line they generate the doubt in the victim, that maybe when the project turns out to be a success, they won’t enjoy the benefits. [quotation of the day: “The conscious and intelligent manipulation, of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society, Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country”] The affiliate link to buy “Propaganda”, on Amazon, is in description! “Sei l’unica persona al mondo in grado di…” (You’re the only person on Earth who is capable of…) With this lie, the manipulator is trying to flatter the victim and at the same time, putting them in a situation that prevents them to back off. In fact, since the victim is the only person on Earth who is able to do what the manipulator wants, they can’t back off leaving without alternatives! “Ti prometto che poi non ti chiederò mai più nulla!” (I promise I won’t ask you for anything ever again) With this line the manipulator is trying to convince the victim, by ensuring that if they accept to do what they’re asking, in the future there won’t be any other requests. A quite tempting proposition that, unfortunately, in most cases, turns out to be not true! [second quotation of the day: “… and men are so simple and so subject to present necessities, that he who seeks to deceive will always find someone who will allow himself to be deceived”] “Il Principe” (The Prince) by Machiavelli is a treatise of political doctrine, written in 1513, in which the author exposes the characteristics of principalities and the methods to preserve them and conquer them. This work gave rise to the adjective “machiavellico” (Machiavellian) that’s used in reference to people, plans or ideas in which cunning and lack of scruples prevail in social and political relationships. The origin famous quote: “il fine giustifica i mezzi” (the end justifies the means) is attributed to this work. Anyway, Machiavelli’s thought can’t be summed up in so simple adjective and sentence! For this reason, I refer you to the reading of his masterpiece, of which I left you the affiliate link in description to buy it on Amazon. “Cosa ti costa?” (What’s the big deal?) This line is often used by manipulators to convince their victims that what they’re asking to do is not so difficult or complicated. Therefore, its purpose is to play down the importance of the request, in order to make their victims more likely to do what they want. “Non sai di cosa sono capace!!!” (You don’t know what I’m capable of!!!) This line can be considered an actual treat! In fact, by using this line the manipulator tries to intimidate the victim, into thinking they’re willing and ready to do anything to get back at them. I greet you with a quote from Sigmund Freud, taken from: “Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego”, of which I left you the link in description that will take you to Amazon if you want to buy it. “And, finally, groups have never thirsted after truth. They demand illusions, and cannot do without them. They constantly give what is unreal precedence over what is real, they are almost as strongly influenced
by what is untrue. as by what is true. They have an evident tendency not to distinguish between the two.”
