To apply a transparency gradient to a selected object, drag across the object. To adjust the position and progression of the transparency, drag the handles, and move the slider. Press Enter to apply the effect. We will use the Transparency tool to create a reflection of the train on the background. Zoom in on the train. Click the Freehand Mask tool, and create a mask around the train. Press Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to create a copy of the train.
Press Ctrl+R to remove the mask. Drag the top handle of the duplicate downwards to create a reflection of the train. With the copy of the train selected, click the Transparency tool.
Drag to apply a transparency gradient to the object. Press Enter to apply the effect.
