Curso Online. Animación 2D con Photoshop

Hi, I’m Rodrigo Miguel, aka Numecaniq. I’m an animator specialised
in the frame-by-frame 2D technique. In nearly ten years, I’ve used animation in all
its shapes and formats. 2D, 3D, stop motion and even mapping, but what I enjoy is the traditional, frame-by-frame technique. I love it
because it enables me to experiment and find my own style. I’ve been lucky to work for Adobe, MTV, Amazon and Spotify. Plus I have several personal projects as I work with
several studios and artists. My work’s been all over the world and I’ve taken part in festivals
like Pictoplasma and the BDA in New York. I see animation as a language
that I learn everyday to express and communicate what I think. I love drawing and movement
and the diverse approaches to this art form. In this Domestika course we’ll tackle drawing for animation
frame by frame. We’ll see
how to use Photoshop efficiently for animation. As a final project, we’ll do a sequence with camera movements and framing. We’ll start by learning
how to tackle animation drawing and I’ll give tips
for you to improve in little time. Using references, we’ll style and deconstruct
the human figure to design a character. I’ll show you how I optimise
Photoshop and the plugins to facilitate this task. We’ll do an exercise
creating character views and we’ll end with a 360° view. We’ll define the character’s main action and generate thumbnails
for the sequence. We’ll animate and see concepts
like test lines and error, keyframes and arches. We’ll apply basic principles
like anticipation, acceleration and exaggeration so that the sequence is alive and flows. Finally, we’ll see concepts like timing and spacing. In the other stage, we’ll see
camera movements and framing. We’ll learn to apply
all sorts of distortions, we’ll do a clean-up and conclude with the colour and the texture. Finally, I’ll show you
top secret techniques of how to use paintbrushes,
masks and filters, to give a unique finish
to the animation. You need a computer
with Photoshop CC or above. This course is aimed at designers,
illustrators, animators and anyone
who wants to experiment with other animation methods. 2D Animation with Photoshop:
