Reply VapeyGamer says: November 21, 2018 at 2:34 am Im definitely working on making a channel but video quality is far from where I want it to be. Its like having to learn photography all over again. I am curious what do you do about negative comments? Do you just leave them there or remove them or what? I've gotten some bad ones but I had comments set to approval only although im concerned that might stifle people who want to leave genuine comments too. Thanks Reply Rikard Persson says: November 21, 2018 at 2:35 am Thanks for another great video, says I who eagerly awaits every new episode!😁 Reply Ramon Brito says: November 21, 2018 at 2:38 am missed you guys hope all is well sir. keep providing great content. Reply Paula Simson says: November 21, 2018 at 2:39 am Hard work and consistency yes, but also compelling content communicated in an interesting way, with a point of view. Reply ryanehoward says: November 21, 2018 at 2:52 am Hard work and consistency is key to so much in life. While I have no desire to start up a channel I do appreciate the introspection and perspective you bring to starting one up and what it takes to run a channel. Your channel is helping me to try more to improve my photography. So thanks for that. Side note: choice of clothes is also vital by looking to your comments right now. Reply Fix It On The Way says: November 23, 2018 at 6:10 am Even though this is a very simple video with simple production values…it's well thought out and spoken and has a great story. But it looks like you were just improving. It doesn't seem like you were reading off a script. That's amazing. Starting a Youtube channel for therapeutic reasons is doable. But to be successful you need a very broad skill set. You can fake it with the gear, but you can't with charisma and camera presence. This is a big issue for most Youtubers…myself included. However, as long as we're aware of the glass ceiling, we'll be okay. Reply edmendoza photography says: November 23, 2018 at 2:46 pm I really need to rewatch this video Andrew, thanks for your insights!! Cheers!! Reply Graham Hemsley says: November 23, 2018 at 6:14 pm Maybe you should stop telling me what to do! Just kidding; you've inspired me. On a related note, it would be awesome to see a video from you two someday about tips or resources that helped you get started with video production coming from a photography background. I'm finding jumping into video very challenging despite years of photography experience and watching some of the more video-centric channels for advice. Would love to hear your take on things. Thanks for all the awesome content. You just inspired me to go out in the rain storm… Thanks! =) Reply Demari Harris says: March 6, 2019 at 2:30 am Actually motivating! I like the "say it how it is" approach! Please keep it up! Reply Alejandra Chandler says: April 20, 2019 at 7:22 pm now I am binge watching the series lol Reply Zulf Photography says: May 26, 2019 at 9:40 am YouTube should change their moto "Prepare yourself for emotional roller-coaster."
