hello everyone
in this video we are going to learn about one of the options inside the
brush tool here’s a simple guide image to work on let’s start first choose the
brush icon from the side menu and select it you can also choose the brush by
pressing the button B see the quick brush options we need to press right
click the option we will learn:about is the brush hardness and how to adjust the
brush hardness according to our needs now you’ll see to control bars first one
is for the brush size and how big you want it and beneath that you will see
the second option which is the hardness option here are the main two brush types
which are soft brush and solid brush when hardness is on 100% we shall use
the solid brush but if the hardness is less than 100% it’s better to use the
soft brush let’s start testing each hardness level since the hardness is on
100 then we should select the solid brush look at how the brush with full
hardness made a solid color circle with no transparent waves around it now
let’s choose the soft brush because we will decrease the hardness to 75 which
will be better with soft brush more than the solid one see how decreasing the
hardness changed the circle outline let’s try 50 so you can see it better
great now let’s go for 25 at this point you should clearly see the
difference between each circle as we go down with hardness of each brush I’ll
keep decreasing the level down to 6% so you can see how it really affects the
overall outcome of the brush stroke great that’s exactly what happens when
you play with the hardness level of your brush using this option is very common
with photo editing and touch-ups hope you have a better understanding of this
feature by now thank you and have a wonderful day
