Vi har flyttat till Örebro(!!!) + Empty House Tour

Next time I upload an update we have probably found somewhere to live – insane! It can take two weeks or six months – you never know. The beginning of a new decade. We say goodbye to the city and hi to the countryside. Bye crowded roads with three lanes. Hi tiny, turning country roads. Hello sky…. tall houses don’t cover you anymore. Hello wild animals – you are my new neighbours. “We’re moving to Örebro + Empty House Tour” Guys…. What’s happening?! Well.. apparently we’re moving… It’s sooo wierd… It doesn’t feel real. Everything happened so fast – even for me it has been hard to keep up with everything At first i panicked when I realized Filip was going to apply for a job in an other city (even if I really wanted him to) Like… we ARE moving somewhere else But then… when we got accepted to Örebro… I thought it would take several weeks – maybe months – before we would find somewhere to live. But…. it didn’t… The first house we went to for a showing.. we are now moving into. We move tomorrow(!) We’ve now, for the past three days, been packing our entire apartment in boxes. From that moment we went to the house and realized we wanted to live there Until that day we signed the agreement.. My panic gained in strength and I felt like “I don’t want this, I don’t want this (already)!” “Nooo, I’m not ready for this!” Most of the time, when I have decided to make a change in my life.. I simply can’t wait for it to happen. I get very impatient. But this time… I did’nt even have the time to think… It all just happened… And now a hysterical part of me has appeared and the only thing I want is to press the STOP button. So I get the time I need to realize what’s actually happening to me and if I’m ready. It doesn’t fit?! You must be joking… Now when there’s no return, I feel better. My favourite wall in the apartment is already gone and there’s nothing I can do about it. Now… we’re doing this! We just teared down our bed. We’re sleeping like this tonight.. On a mattress on the floor! Wow wow wow, the move is real! It doesn’t feel real. E: You think? F: Yes I do! E: You DO??
F: Yes! E: Are you excited?
F: Yes! [ Insert a full night of sleep ] So empty!? Bye… Let’s go! It’s so unreal! We’re here! We’re going to move all the boxes into the house but first… I wanted to show you the house – we’re doing an empty house tour! Filip is already here. Look how close Filips head is to the ceiling! The ceiling is lower than in my house in Tyresö! The first thing you see when you enter the house is this small hallway. The stairs to upstairs and the door to the kitchen. And this is our livingroom. Two cute windows… A small room.. And a fireplace! So cute I love it! And then… In the kitchen it looks like this: An other place to lit the fire – to keep us warm. It’s quite small in here so it’s hard to give you an overview. Storage under the stairs.. Where we’ll have the dinner table.. And the laundry room with a back door. Here we have a lot of storage and a WC. Here on the backside we have a porch. We didn’t buy this house – we’re renting it. It felt unnecessary because we don’t know if we’ll stay more than two years in Örebro. We were soooo lucky to find this! Can’t believe it was out for rent when we started looking.. The only house we found that was a good fit for us. I would say this is a tiny house. And yeah.. this is the downstairs.. Let’s go upstairs! I love the sound of the stairs: It’s exciting! This will be the bedroom. This is the biggest room in the house.. Some storage.. Behind Filip… You’ll find my office! (He must bend over to prevent hitting his head hah) This. THIS! This is already my favourite view in the house! I’ll be taking so many pictures here.. Ooohhhhh… there are too much nice places in this house (haha) Crazy I forgot my slippers in Stockholm.. so I’m a bit cold hehe I felt soooo stressed out in the beginning.. We saw this house for the first time on December 21th There was others interested in the house as well… And we needed some time to decide if this was the right place for us. Saturday after the new year (Jan 4th) we signed the papers. And then we moved… Just a couple of days later.. *counting* Like four days later.. We drove down with the first boxes and furniture. And I’m sooo tired right now, I just don’t know what to do But I would like to tell you… This anxiety I felt in the beginning.. It’s totally gone! It dissappeared when I took my first step into this house. This place is soooo cozy I don’t know what to do! I never in my wildest dreams thought I would get a house like this so soon. The first morning.. after the first night in the house… I woke up and looked through the window.. I saw the most amazing sunrise out there The horizon was on fire. I jumped in my clothes, grabbed my camera and ran through the door.. And I filmed the clips you saw in the beginning of this video. It felt like…. a sign. It felt like the nature was welcoming me to this place. To Örebro. I’m used to living in a big city (Stockholm), where I have to plan how and when to go to nature, where I take all my pictures. And now I can simply go through the door (!) At this moment, if the snow starts falling.. I can just grab my jacked and my tripod and stand right here on the corner taking pictures.. Pinch me! That first morning.. I felt indescribably happy. Euphoria. I also thank you all – dear peope from Örebro – for your kind welcome to your city! I must tell you that me and Filip was in the city for the first time yesterday We saw the castle! And we had the time of our life! (I might be exaggerating hehe) It was cold outside, but we visited our first restaurant, We went to a thrift store.. That was a great thrift store btw.. It was huge and I found….. yeah.. Thrift videos in the future? Omg yes. I will end this video right now. Thank you all for watching and for following me on this journey. I will keep telling you all about what’s going on in the house. Tell you how the city people (me and Filip) acclimate to the country life See you soon and have an amazing day! Bye!
